Democracy Prevails

Lately there was a riot on the White House. The riot was caused because of Joe Biden winning the election. Here is a link to a news article. They were able to clam the riot down by 6 pm. The next day they said Joe Biden was the New president. "To those who wreaked havoc in our Capitol today, you did not win," Pence said. "Violence never wins. Freedom wins, and this is still the people's house. And as we reconvene in this chamber, the world will again witness the resilience and strength of our democracy for, even in the wake of unprecedented violence and vandalism at this Capitol, the elected representatives of the people of the United States have assembled again on the very same day to support and defend the Constitution of the United States…. Let's get back to work." So in the end the people in the lost and Joe Biden became president.

Her message is about how we Americans will always make it through dark times and different problems we faced as Americans. When I heard her poem I thought about how people in Americans have done many amazing things. It also made me feel that in the future we can fix any problem that comes our way.

His message is about how we as Americans when we work together we can solve any challenges that come our way. And how we don´t need to fight we need to listen. And to beat today´s and tomorrow´s challenges. If we work together we can get stronger ready for the future. He plans to fight for all Americans even if they did not fight for him. And to repair our alliances and engage with the world once again. He also wants to defend American. What gave me hope was when he was talking about the people who lost their lives to keep peace. I think his message will move many people as it did to me. Here is his speech.
